Dr. Thomas Seeger
Dr. Thomas Seeger, born 1957 in Wiesbaden, Germany, is one of the founders and the Managing Director of Medalliance Consulting. He has worked in the area of reimbursement marketing for more than 20 years, a concept that he developed to a great extend.
Thomas has long-standing international experience in sales and marketing of medical devices and an in-depth knowledge of the market and reimbursement structures of the German health care system. He is specialized in analyzing the market and funding situation specific to a client's technologies, developing tailored reimbursement and pricing strategies and helping implement these at provider, payer or patient level.
Thomas holds an M.A. in clinical linguistics, a PhD in pedagogy and a Diploma in speech and language pathology, Johann-Wolfgang Goethe University, Frankfurt, Germany. He has 5 years experience with the world leader in cochlear implant technology (Cochlear AG, Basel) as area sales manager and European marketing and reimbursement manager. Thomas participated in the EUR-ASSESS project on Health Technology Assessment and he is a presenter and writer on German health care policy and medical device reimbursement for German and international conferences and publications.
Dr. Thomas Seeger
Andrea Möller-Rump has been with Medalliance Consulting since June 2000. She holds a Master of Arts in German Language and Literature, Philosophy and Politics from the University of Münster, Germany. With more than 15 years of experience within today’s healthcare environments, Andrea is our expert for all sectors of the German healthcare system, from market structure and market entry analyses to the development of reimbursement activities and hands-on services for our clients. Furthermore she is our specialist for the reimbursement of medical devices and technologies in the Austrian healthcare system.
Dr. Dianne Mecklenburg
Dr. Dianne Mecklenburg, born in California, USA, holds dual Master’s Degrees in Audiology and Speech Pathology and a Ph.D. in Communication Disorders with secondary areas of Psychoacoustics and Rehabilitation Counseling. She has worked extensively in the medical device field in North American, Australia and Europe specializing in cochlear implants but also in research design for Hoffman-La Roche, 3M and others, as well at Universities in Germany, Switzerland, Australia and USA. She has published widely in peer-reviewed journals (although, most recently as a ghost writer), lectured internationally and continues as a consultant to clinics, universities and companies. Dianne has provided support, data review and report writing for Medalliance since 2008. As a resident of Switzerland, she has also provided input for reimbursement issues relating to the new DRG policies in that country.

Hildegard VingerhoetHildegard Vingerhoet is educated as a Medical-Technical Assistant (MTA) and she is a certified study nurse. Since May 2000, she has been responsible for Medalliance’s Office Management and Financial Accounting, as well as for research. A short list of Hilde’s experience includes working for the research department of hematology/oncology at the University Hospital Freiburg, for the application and quality control laboratory of the company SERONO Diagnostika Consulting (now: BIOCHEM) and for the hematology laboratory of the Hospital for Tumor Biologics in Freiburg.
